Question:

We are cruising ( 2 adults) in October 2010 and will enter Vietnam on several occassions as the ship sails along the coast. We land at Cai Lang (2 days), Da Nang (1day), Vha Trang (1 day ) and Ho Chi Minh (2days). Does this count as one entry? Yours sincerely Siuna A Reid

Answer:

Hello,

yes, it is counted as 1 entry only since no visa is required for inter-country travel.

I am a British passport holder visiting Sri Lanka. I am planning to visit Vietnam from Sri Lanka. Can I apply for Vietnam visa online while in Sri Lanka? I will be arriving in Sri Lanka on 7 Apr.

Hi R Kodituwakku

That is fine, you can apply for a visa on arrival online from Sri Lanka since there is currently no embassy of Vietnam in the country.

Have a good day.
