Dear Sir/Madam, I was planning on taking a flight from Bangkok to HCMC where I will need to grab my luggage and check it in again for a separately booked flight back to Australia. Will I need to get a Vietnamese Visa for this? Thank you Joshua

Be kindly informed that if you just stay in Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) for transit, and do not leave the international zone at the airport, you are not required to get a Vietnam visa. Otherwise, you are required for one. In this case, please directly contact the nearest Vietnam Embassy to get more information you need.
